The ION Riot Curv 2024 is a hardshell waist harness and with a flex index of 14/20 it falls into the category of medium stiff harnesses. Its medium stiffness provides a lot of freedom of movement, so you can easily pass the bar behind your back during freestyle tricks or follow the contours of the wave when surfing without being hindered by your harness. If the wind suddenly picks up, the still relatively stiff shell offers the support needed to control a lot of power, allowing you to ride kiteloops with full power.

The ION Riot Curv 2024 utilizes ION's 3D Fit Technology which ensures a perfect fit for riders of all sizes. Since the right fit depends on both back length and waist circumference, ION has developed standard and long sizes to accommodate all body shapes. Check out the size chart to find your perfect fit! The Ergo Pads are back for 2024, offering replaceable pads on the inside of the harness that conform to the curve of your back. The harness comes with two different pad sizes - try both to find out which is most comfortable for you. The Curv construction keeps the weight low, and thanks to the non-water-absorbing Hyper_Foam, the harness stays lightweight even when wet. The improved neoprene strap with velcro closure provides more flexibility, maneuverability and overall comfort, ideal for wave and freestyle kiteboarding. The harness comes complete with the Spectre spreader bar, which distributes the power of the kite evenly across the entire spreader bar. Thanks to the excellent Curv Flaps, the spreader bar is neither pulled up nor tilted too much. Finally, the ION Team Series comes with a safety knife for additional safety.
