The Soleil has been a part of the Duotone lineup for years and is a staple. But what makes it special for women? The Duotone Soleil has a narrower outline that makes carving from rail to rail easier and provides a dynamic and playful ride. The stance is also narrower and tailored specifically to the female body, making it easier to edge, jump and carve. In addition, the Soleil has excellent upwind properties thanks to the medium rocker, making it easy to return to your starting point. The progressive flex also ensures maximum comfort with optimal pop!New for 2024 is Duotone's unique Concept Blue construction. The Duotone Soleil is one of the two kiteboards that feature the new eco-friendly Concept Blue construction. But what makes this construction so eco-friendly? Two new materials are used for the construction: flax fiber and basalt. Flax fiber is a natural material that is more environmentally friendly and replaces traditional fiberglass. Flax plants can be harvested in just 100 days, meaning fewer resources are needed to produce the final product. In addition to their eco-friendly properties, flax fiber also offers better dampening properties compared to fiberglass and has excellent torsional flexibility. The flax fiber is combined with basalt fiber, another natural fiber derived from volcanic rock, which is used in the Soleil's stingers. By combining these two materials, you have more control over the strength and bending properties and increase the torsional and longitudinal stiffness of the kiteboard, resulting in an overall better and sportier ride while being environmentally friendly! In addition to the revised Concept Blue construction, the Space Flex Tips are also back, but for 2024 the window has been enlarged for even more comfort.
