Duotone has upgraded the Select for 2025 with an all-new Concept Blue construction. The Duotone Select Concept Blue 2025 utilizes new materials such as flax and basalt to produce an incredibly durable and eco-friendly kiteboard without compromising on performance. Flax fiber is a natural material that is more environmentally friendly and replaces traditional fiberglass. The flax plant can be harvested after just 100 days, meaning fewer resources are needed to reach the final product. In addition to its eco-friendly properties, flax fiber offers better dampening properties compared to fiberglass and has excellent torsional flex properties. The flax fiber is combined with basalt fiber, another natural fiber derived from volcanic rock. By combining these two materials, the strength and flex properties can be better controlled, increasing the torsional and longitudinal stiffness of the kiteboard, resulting in an overall better and sportier ride, while being eco-friendly!

In addition to the updated Concept Blue construction, the Space Flex tips are back, but for 2024 the window has been increased to increase riding comfort. Additionally, the upper part of the tip is asymmetrical and has a stiffer heel side, resulting in a more predictable and linear flex pattern. The stiffer heel edge, combined with the relatively flat rocker, provides excellent upwind performance that allows you to ride into the wind with ease.
