The Duotone Jaime SLS 2024 kiteboard has been the favorite of almost all Duotone pro riders for years. After 15 years of development, the Duotone Jaime SLS 2024 is back in the lineup. The Duotone Jaime SLS is one of the go-to kiteboards of 2-time world champion Andrea Principi. According to Andrea, the kiteboard is perfect for big air, which he demonstrates in his Snake and Double Loop videos. Thanks to the enormous grip that the Jaime brings, it is even easier to keep the edge in strong winds. This allows you to apply more power to jump even higher without losing control. The upwind characteristics of the new Jaime are also amazing. Thanks to the new channels on the bottom, it is even easier to ride against the wind, doubling the number of jumps during your session.For 2024, Duotone 's well-known SLS construction is back. This innovative construction uses Biax Carbon and Textreme Innegra, which provide explosive pop and a sophisticated flex pattern while minimizing weight. Thanks to the extremely robust construction, the Jaime SLS can withstand almost anything - whether you're coming down hard after a big air trick or practicing hardcore freestyle tricks. Thanks to the carbon, the Jaime SLS is a bit stiffer than the "normal" Jaime, but feels faster and more playful. The "angled fins" are also back. The fins are attached at an angle to improve grip and make riding upwind even easier. Combined with the completely new concept of the double rocker line, the pop is improved, resulting in guaranteed altitude records. The Torsion Flex Cap is a kind of 3D cap that allows torsion in the longitudinal direction of the kiteboard. Because the Jaime SLS can twist, you get extra grip on the heel side, comfortable landings and better upwind performance. The rocker line of the Duotone Jaime SLS 2024 changes depending on the situation. When kiting with little power, the board stays relatively flat to allow for quick planing. When the wind picks up and you need a lot of power, the kiteboard flexes more, giving you more control and stability. The flex tips absorb shocks and ensure buttery smooth landings. The grab rails are located in the middle of the rail. This makes it easy to practice board-offs or even board-off kiteloops!
If you're looking for a capable twin-tip, the new Duotone Jaime SLS is an excellent choice. If you prefer a slightly more comfortable ride and a little more forgiveness, then the "regular" Jaime is more for you.
